Term 3 is often the Music department’s busiest time of year, and 2026 is proving to be no exception! There are many events coming up and we look forward to sharing the photos, memories, and results with you in the coming newsletters.

Parade Presents: The Seasons

Each year the Music department hosts a major annual concert with a different theme, highlighting all the fantastic work of our ensembles, students, and music staff throughout the year so far. This year, the theme of Parade Presents is “The Seasons”, which will take place during Week 5 on Thursday 13 August commencing at 7pm. It has been fantastic to see how the staff and students have creatively interpreted this theme and we look forward to sharing our showcase concert for 2026 with you all. Tickets are on sale now and we encourage you to book early to avoid disappointment!

Semester 2 Music Enrolments

The start of this semester is the perfect opportunity to start instrumental music lessons. A reminder that students can sign up for music lessons via this link or the sign-up sheet on the college website. We are particularly inviting enrolments on clarinet, flute and brass instruments. Various ensembles also run during lunchtimes and after school, such as Concert Band, Big Band, Rock Band, Drumline, Vocal Ensemble and more.
