If Parade College made an impact on you or your loved ones, you can play a part in making that impact on generations to come.
A bequest to Parade College continues your legacy. Through a gift in your will, you can help talented young people achieve their potential, support students in need, or contribute to the ongoing facility needs of Parade College impacting the educational experience of generations to come.
A planned gift, or a bequest, means you include the College as a beneficiary in your will. It could include:
Decide on a giving level
After considering the needs of your family and loved ones, you can make a bequest of the remaining assets to Parade College. Alternatively, you can make a specific bequest, which could include a set amount of money, a portion of your estate or valuable collections you would like to donate.
Consider your interests
Perhaps you would like to support a specific area that is meaningful to you and your family. When you leave a bequest, you can indicate how you would like your gift to be used, or allow the funds to be allocated on your behalf to an area of highest need.
Preparing your will
You can include a bequest to Parade College when you write your Will. If you already have a Will, you can add a codicil (a legal provision) to include the bequest. For assistance on Will writing and amendment, we recommend that you seek independent legal advice.
If you have included Parade College in your Will you will be invited to join the Old Bluestone Pile Club, named in honour of the founding Parade College site in East Melbourne. You can learn more about the Old Bluestone Pile Club here.
