PARADE COLLEGE
X

Welcome back to Term 3! I hope families had some time to rest and rejuvenate as the winter weather really settled in! I enjoyed some time with my family in Port Welshpool, a very cold and windy coastal town in South Gippsland, we enjoyed the long jetty walks and cosy campfires!

World Cup Spirit

On the final day of Term 2, the College screened the World Cup midday match across three venues in the school, creating an exciting, shared experience for students and staff. The event generated significant enthusiasm and positive feedback from students, who appreciated the opportunity to come together and celebrate a major global sporting event. Beyond the enjoyment of the match itself, the screening helped strengthen school spirit, foster a sense of belonging, and build connections between students across year levels, especially our Failte Program as our Year 12s and 7s enjoyed the game together in Rivergum Theatre. The event contributed positively to student wellbeing and reinforced our culture of engagement and connectedness. Images of students enjoying the game can be viewed below.

From the eSafety Commisioner

The eSafety Commissioner offer parent and carer webinars! Please find resources through their ready-to-use images and flyer.

Their latest ‘Keeping Kids Safe Online’ research shows that while most parents regularly discuss online safety, conversations about some of the fastest-growing online risks are far less common. The esafety Commissioner’s regularly updated webinars help parents and carers build the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to support their children online.
