Year 8 and 9 preparation and exams will commence from 9 June. Students should be encouraged to allocate time not only for homework, but to revise for the semester examinations as well. At the recent year level assemblies, students were presented with a variety of study approaches and tips.
Along with encouraging your child to consider Homework Club, we seek your support in creating a distraction-free environment for when your child studies.
The following Year 8 subjects will have an examination in both semesters this year.
The following Year 9 subjects will have an examination in both semesters this year.
Year 8: Monday 16 June – Wednesday 18 June
Year 9: Monday 16 June – Thursday 19 June
Note:
Unfortunately, missed examinations are unlikely to be rescheduled. If your child is absent due to illness, please email Nadia Bonvicino with a copy of the medical certificate. If your child is absent for another reason (example – bereavement), please communicate that accordingly. In such cases, the grade of X-Special Circumstances may be awarded.
