As another year draws to a close, the NLC Team would like to congratulate everybody who took a walk in somebody else’s shoes through the magic of reading. Whether it be through a novel, an audiobook, or a comic, reading has broadened horizons for countless students and staff this year.

Having a look at the statistics in BeanStack shows that collectively we read 536,599 minutes. That is over 300 consecutive days! Year 10 Raphael Glow B09 won the 2025 Reading challenge with over 10,000 minutes.

We held so many activities, hosted clubs, ran reading classes and welcomed groups of students during recess and lunch. Next year will bring some new clubs, we will launch the student newspaper and have a few new surprises to show everyone on their return.
