In preparation for the ExCEL program in 2026, Year 9 students (current Year 8) will participate in an orientation excursion encompassing activities designed to familarise students with navigating around the city (CBD) and to assist with building confidence in using public transport for independent travel, which is a requirement of the ExCEL program.
Students will begin their day at 8.40am at Bundoora Campus, meeting their ExCEL teacher in Moore Hall. After being briefed about the day, groups will travel (accompanied by staff), completing a loop journey that will include travelling by tram (Bundoora/Preston Campuses), commuting by train (Preston/City) and utilising a chartered bus (Federation Square to/from Bundoora) returning to Bundoora Campus in time for 3.15pm dismissal.
Parents will be emailed further details including permission forms.
