Parade’s two Learning Centres operate together as one welcoming, dynamic service to support whole-school learning and activities.
Students can participate in activities and clubs, such as Homework Club, Chess Club, as well as many specialised student-led clubs focused on STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics). There are many flexible learning spaces, ideal for class workshops and sessions, collaborative group work and independent learning. The Learning Centres also provide a wide range of hard copy and e-resources including popular Fiction, Non-Fiction, AV resources, Reference resources and Databases, and more. Digital and online resources include: Wheelers and SORA eBooks and audio books, MYON digital library, BorrowBox audio books, RB Digital eMagazines, and the Clickview video system.
The Learning Centre Homepage includes customized reading and learning resources such as LearnPaths, the Parade Reading Challenge, Britannica online; World Book online; online newspaper access; and more.
Our online resources are available 24/7 - a great support for homework, reading for enjoyment and staying connected with learning.
