AWARDS

 

Outstanding application to academic studies is recognised throughout the year at Parade College. There are two different forms of academic application that are recognised: outstanding achievement and outstanding progress. Apart from the feedback students receive from their teachers on individual tasks, teachers also nominate students for monthly awards and an overall semester awards for Outstanding Academic Achievement and Outstanding Academic Progress.

 

Outstanding Academic Achievement

This award recognises student achievement of academic excellence in studies. The student who receives this award will have the highest overall results / performance across all assessed tasks completed during the semester for the study. This student completes all their set work to a high standard.

 

Outstanding Academic Progress

This award recognises student contribution to the progress of their learning in the classroom. The student who receives this award completes all set work to the best of their ability and demonstrates a positive attitude. They are an active participant in class and consistently strive to improve their standard of work, regardless of their level of ability. This student shows initiative with their approach to work.
